By replacing foam with the Specialized Mirror technology, they’ve also reduced sit bone pressure up to 26%. They developed Mirror technology by 3D printing from a liquid polymer to perfectly reflect your anatomy. This revolutionary process creates a complex honeycomb structure that allows us to infinitely tune the material’s density in a way impossible with foam.

The Body Geometry ergonomic supportive cut-out is designed to maximize blood flow, while the unique saddle shape allows you to maintain comfort, even in a competitive, aerodynamic position. The very first concave FACT carbon fiber shell enabled them to create the thickest Mirror pad ever with 22,200 struts and 10,700 nodes, while oversized carbon rails create a saddle that’s ready for anything.

Unprecedented Sit Bone Support:  Using a unique concave shape flex-tuned FACT carbon shell, we’ve created space for a thicker Mirror print using 22,000 struts and 10,700 nodes, which allows for more ‘travel’ within the 3D print itself. If S-Works Power with Mirror with 14,000 struts and 7,799 junctions is a 100mm XC bike, think of S-Works Romin EVO with Mirror as a 150mm trail bike.

Infinite Tunability: Mirror technology’s infinite tunability creates a larger, more even distribution of sit bone pressure with a ‘hammock’ effect, meaning the saddle does the work of supporting your weight, not the tissue around your sit bones.

Soft Tissue Relief: The new S-Works Romin EVO with Mirror uses a supportive, ergonomic cut-out to protect blood flow in delicate soft tissue by ensuring rider weight is supported by the pubic rami in an aggressive riding position, not soft tissue.

Performance-Inspired Shaping: At 26cm long (compared to a 24cm long Power shape) with a ramp at the rear of the saddle, the S-Works Romin EVO with Mirror provides a shape for riders that like to slide forward for an aggressive, aero position, and slide back with support for a tempo climbing position.
