Dimension R2 is the new high-performance ergonomic saddle from Prologo that sits at the top of the Dimension family range, one of the most appreciated on the market in recent years.

A multidisciplinary saddle with compact dimensions of 245x143mm, perfect for road, gravel, and XC/Marathon mountain biking use, designed for the most demanding professionals and amateurs, always seeking maximum performance and top-of-the-line components.

Prologo’s continuous pursuit of maximum performance, combined with ongoing improvements in design and materials used, has enabled further innovation of an already cutting-edge saddle and the creation of the lightest Dimension ever. This new saddle weighs only 135 grams, a 13% reduction compared to the previous Dimension 143 model.

Anatomical Shape

The V-shape of the Dimension R2 ensures reduced movement and more precise positioning on the saddle surface. The advanced anatomical center facilitates sitting more forward on the saddle. The flat anatomical shape of this saddle, which promotes an even more forward and aerodynamic riding position, makes it ideal for those with excellent pelvic flexibility.

Technologies

The Dimension R2 features a completely redesigned nose, 40 mm wide, 6% wider than the previous model, with a more rounded side profile. The new design has been developed to further increase saddle comfort, especially during maximum pedaling efforts. The open PAS – Perineal Area System channel in the middle of the saddle is designed to eliminate pressure peaks and numbness.

The new EVA foam has allowed a 1mm reduction in padding thickness at the rear, 20% less than the previous model. This reduction in padding has made it possible to decrease the overall weight while maintaining the saddle’s support and comfort.

Base and Rail

The rail can be made of Nack (Nano Carbon Fiber), composed of carbon fiber, Kevlar, and aluminum filaments, ideal for cyclists seeking maximum stiffness and lightness, or in Tirox (light alloy steel) with excellent vibration absorption. The base is made of long fiber carbon for Nack rails or injected carbon for Tirox rails. These materials offer an excellent compromise between stiffness and comfort.
