The R5 has only one job: to get to the summit quickly. Even though fame and lots of fans await a mountain finish, it’s usually not the only climb of the day. And while most races aren’t won in the downhills, they can certainly be lost there. A mountain bike that can’t handle a switchback feels like a cup of decaf coffee. The R5 is now in its fourth iteration. While the weight and stiffness have changed over the years, the handling, balance and unmatched downhill capabilities have remained the same since day one.
